supratoy
I have lost 5th and 6th gear:cry: It will shift into 5th and 6th without clutch and it'll just rev like it 's in neutral. Anyone know if it's a new gear box or just something wrong with the syncro's? need help big time!

Digsy
My knowledge of gearboxes is limited but I'd assume that 5th and 6th are on the same shaft and use the same selector forks so something has gone wrong with either the selector mechanism for those two gears of the drive that dogs the gears to the shaft. Unfortunately it shoulds like a box overhaul at the least

Chris Wilson
A roll pin has probably come out or broken. Gearbox strip, more than likely.

Getrag
Sorry to hear this Vinny. Did you have this problem before? I remember a thread about a similar thing happening to Matt Harwood at a drag meet/airfield event but it was transient. Maybe chat to him.

Guest Terry S
OK lift the centre consul, then the rubber gaitor and make sure nothing has dropped inside. I had a similar thing happen on a track day thats all.
