traction control

does any body find that the traction control on the tt tends to be a little slow in activating,wife lost it on sunday doing 30mph light on the pedal greasy roads but still feked the rear alloy hitting the kerb the traction kicked in after the damage was done,any suggestions apart from the obvious (get the wife a bus pass etc) cheers.

RLTC - The stock TC is crap.

Stock traction control is well known to be useless!

Racelogic Traction Control - RLTC is much better and is easily fitted.

Nige, the stock traction control can be very dangerous, as it completely cuts power for seconds, not good if you're going for a gap in the traffic, turning left at a T-junction and you suddenly loose all power

I got sick of turning the thing off every time I got in the car, so just pulled the trac fuse to disable it and then later fitted the Racelogic Tracton Control.

Best bit of advice, is invest in RLTC. Do a search and you'll find loads of info.

whats the cost of the rltc and how difficult to fit.

Under £500 to buy without being too specific.

If you're competent with a soldering iron and good at identifying wires it's possible to fit it yourself.

Or Traders on here can fit it for you.

You just missed the group buy of all group buys.

Can't wait to get mine fitted.
