Stuliet
Mine has arrived. Looks a bit hard to use as a pillow, so I guess I may as well put it on the car. Lovely bit of kit
Chris Wilson
Excellent, 5 more to go. A guy from Ireland has paid a deposit, then said the money was being transferred for the balance. All dealings by phone. The balance hasn't shown... If you are out there please get in touch ASAP. There MAY be a spare I/C available otherwise. imi
Thats good news Chris - Please let me know when I will be receiving mine, it isnt incredibly urgent but the sooner i get this, the sooner I will be able to get it on the car and recoup some cash back for my Miami-GT uprated one. TTRickeh
As promised: Packed in plenty of bubble wrap with some cardboard to protect the fins. ^^ Watch out for these, I can't imagine anyone wants these getting sucked into their engine. I poked my fingers through there and picked out a few more lying on the bottom of the inside. Weight ~5.6kg Pretty nice looking I/C.
Chris Wilson
Give them a quick wash out with hot soapy water if there are any bits of swarf visible. They will be from dressing the pipe stub welds. I'll do the other 5 myself before shipping, as I normally do, but wanted these to go out ASAP. the other 5 are with me Wednesday I am reliably told. The cores are fine now they are back using the old furnace
TTRickeh
Will do. Were the first two made by the old furnace too?
Chris Wilson
All have been done on the old furnace, the new one destroyed a load of cores as they couldn't do something. Not sure what, that's their problem
TTRickeh
God what a fiddly job this is to do. I fitted it (minus a few bolts and the active spoiler side cover...) but a hose has blown off. I think i'm going to take the front bumper off and see how I get on like that.
Chris Wilson
It's much easier with the bumper, but possible with it on and the undertray and arch liner out on the drivers side. Safer for the IC fins with the bumper off though. TIP: Leave the protective card on the rear side until it's in situ. Fit with the air duct fitted to the IC already. Chris Wilson
All the rest of the I/C's are here with me now, those yet to receive theirs please check your e-mail or PM status, thanks. I want a final address confirmation where someone can sign for the coolers on either Monday or Tuesday. A work address is fine. as it's been a while I would rather have a heads up delivery addresses now I can safely say when they will be with you, just in case someone is away, moved or it's more convenient to deliver elsewhere. Thanks for your patience.
Chris Wilson
A gentleman in Ireland has never sent the balance for one unit, so it's up for grabs. Let me know if you want it, first come first served. Thanks.
