Glosphil
What is the expected benefit from installing cams into a BPU car? and will the standard ECU cope with it? Recommendations for a fast road/odd track day car. Thanks
Wez
People have used cams without changing fueling and ignition but in my opinion to get the most from them you should adjust both. EDIT Benefit: better breathing up top, more air and more fuel equals more power
Alex
256in / 264ex for fast road on stock based turbo's....
Nic
I fitted in256/ex264 cams when BPU, it gave noticeable improvements in mid to top end power. I had the emanage fitted at the same time which as Wes says, helps get the best out of the cam swap.

Chris and Alana
Would installing larger cam's still retain the gap between pistons and valves (keeping it a non-interference engine)?
Tricky-Ricky
I think until you go past 272 you are fine, still non interference.
Alex
You have 10mm of clearance in total on stock pistons. The 256/264's use about 9mm's

They seem to be about 6 months behind in producing them - so I went for HKS ones.
