I am just going to order some HKS Iridium plugs for my J-Spec Twin Turbo and wondered if anyone knows the part number. I have been onto the HKSUSA.com site and found out that they say it is a 5408-535i I need although don't know if there cars are the same as the J-Spec ones.

The site i am buying them from only uses part numbers.

Cheers

yep, the ngk's r very good. ive just looked into this stuff myself and basicaly found that the iridium plugs offer a very very slight performance enhancement over standard copper elements for the first 5 - 10k miles of their life, then after that r really no better. they do last something like 30k miles though, its just that u could have bought about 20 sets of ngks in that time and been running on a fresher plug for longer.

my opinion is for the cost the performance benefit is negligable, spend the saving on petrol or something.

ps there r 3 different types, all with dif specs check out the denso site (they make them and hks sell them) http://www.denso.co.jp/PLUG/iridium-e/index.html

...a lesson learned there!
