R3DG3CKO ROB
Thanks I can't upload a larger image to flickr... photobucket is even smaller? does anyone know of a online system that allows larger images? The original was taken by a club member at the TF BBQ this summer. (in my garage pics) photoshops are only ever as good as the original image so thanks to the photographer. All done with photoshop CS... Cut the car out (carefully) converted it to greyscale played with the contrast levels to take the glare off (matt effect) applied the black background softened the edges and blurred a few details to take the sharpness off copied the image and flipped it vertically made it opaque and added blended masks to create the mirror effect. added the ground level and a bit of texture and blurred a few edges to finish it off. Guest scottw74
Hope you dont mind, I just saved it as my background as its one of the best images I have come across. Nice of you to post up how you did it, but P'shop skills are not that good. I'll fall at the first hurdle,ie, cut the car out carefully. R3DG3CKO ROB
course not. glad you like it Photoshop is one of those things you have to spend a lot of time on unfotunatey. I'm 'lucky' enough to use it at work so I get a bit of practice every now and then...
