mattanna
Just read a road test of new GTR in auto express, they tested it against 911 (£97,000) model, GTR costs £55000, gtr did 0-62 in 3.5 sec and topped out at 194mph, porsche was 0.1 sec slower, and same top speed, gtr has 473lb/ft torque. The price difference for the performance is amazing, i guess if anyone sees one in the future advice is do not race it, you will lose!! Gaz Walker
The stock GT-R from mines ran a 63s lap at Tsukuba yesterday! Thats very impressive for a stock car. Have a look here for Mine's and MCR's future GT-R demo cars: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/87786-two-new-gtrs-tsukuba-circuit.html Gaz. mattanna
if i won the big lottery, i would still like my ferrari599 etc but i would get one of these first, that performance for the price is astounding, christ help when they mod it!!!!, and you would have to spend a lot more on a single supe to beat it, and even then that would only be in a straight line, pending unreliability, mapping, no traction etc etc, gtr is the new king:d
michael
I'm looking forward to the japanese tuners with their mods to get more out of the engine. \:)/ Most of the reviews to date are trying to suggest that Nissan have put in all kinds of things to prevent people tuning it, I can't see that lasting long I'm still concerned that the UK government will try and use the GPS it has like they are in Japan, 112mph speed limiter on the roads and then it disappears once the car is seen to be on a track.... only they will put a 50mph limiter on it. EVO have a very good review of it this month BTW.

My mistake it was evo i read, same mag as auto express anyway, fact is it is an awesome car so the days of the boys with old cars like supras ruling the roost are finally over, speed limiters etc can be got around, but why would you spend £50k on a 1994 supra when for similar price you get get the gtr!, i think the supra is a fine looking car but handling wise it is not good unless you are jason plato, new gtr is the epitomy of technology and performance and toyata have nothing near yet, it's traction will be awesome and £55k is well within many peoples price range
