PJ Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Well that didn't go very well then Mayweather outboxed Hatton completely, Hatton is a legend for keeping going as long as he did, just walking on to shot after shot and still kept coming. Constant pressure and constantly on Mayweather, but just couldn't keep taking shots like that. Looks like Mayweather's retiring now that this fight has finished too. Mayweather was a pussy, always duckin below the waste and turning his back as he got hit and then dived through the rope to avoid him and then hatton gets a point knocked off for a punch that didn't land! Wtf was that! Bobbeh Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 I watched it all and even tho Ricky lost thought it was a great fight, and one that showed Mayweather is total class. Hatton himself said he couldn't fight as he wanted and took the wrong approach, the ref being a total obstacle in the first half of the fight - a complete joke!... which left Hatton having to try harder to redeem points it if were to go the distance. This of course gave Floyd the ascendancy as thats how he fights and to be fair caught Ricky with a super punch. Glad I bought the fight to watch but its a real shame about the outcome... still as has been said, compared with the other fights on that bill it was in another world.
