Is anyone else finding the new site unreliable?

Having terrible trouble logging into this site since the upgrade - taken me 10 minutes of refreshing the same link to post this.

Do I need to updates my favourites or anything? I'm currently linking to...

I just get loads of 'This page cannot be displayed' errors, and it's only with this site as all others are working fine (so it's not my connection).

What am I doing wrong?

Yep, I was getting this late last night but, thought it was my connection so, went to bed.

It was fine with other links/sites - seems fine today :)

Miserable User was its name, and its not been installed..

Yes it has...!!

BAH HUMBUG....!

Actually found the site very fast indeed with no problems at all! Once this old git has got round the list it's all very good - too many sections for my liking - as people tend to get a bit lost and lonely - but just a personal and quite minor point. Congrats on the changeover!

I think the simplest thing to do now is to use the New Posts option at the top of the page. I used to go in to each section and just go through each post, mark that section as read and go on to the next section, with the multiple sections and sub sections I now use the new posts bit as that is much easier.

  • 1 month later...

Are people still having this slowness/timing out problem? I've got it loads recently BUT only when the ***** I live with are downloading stuff from Bittorrent and the likes, even when it's throttled and so on. The second I cancel their downloads/remove network connection it's spot on again.
