Film name help...

On saturday I had a demo of the home cinema I'm getting.

The guy in the shop used a film where there was a room full of drums, and a chinese dude flicked a pebble at them and then a woman started doing some kung fu dancing in the middle sort of thing.

so does anyone know the name of the film?

Also, what other films should I get to annoy the neighbours with? I'll be trying out Gladiator, as the fight seen at the beginning should sound really good.

Yeah House of flying daggers.

The scene in Hero where Jet Li flies around and chops up all the bamboo makes quite a good noise. Er, if you know what scene I mean ! He lobs a little bowl of water in the air, flies in a circle and comes back to catch the bowl on his sword, then all the bamboo type things fall down.

Black Hawk Down is supposed to use the 5.1 very well. Probably Saving Private Ryan too.

:yeahthat:

28 days later should be quite good. The bit near the end where the nasty soldier dudes get done over.

The .50 gun in Smoking Aces makes a good noise too, shame the film is crap :(

Alicia Keys all feisty and sweaty.

Got to be top gun for me, may not be the best film storyline wise... but the sound effects in a home cinema are awesome, and the movie holds a spot for me because I first saw it on a home cinema system and got the bug.... Anybody want to find out when Top Gun was first out and make me feel REALLY old :)
