Also when had the car parked its hunting up and down and running like a pig...

But after work started up the car no problems

So I done a Diagnostic putting a paper clip in TE1 & E1 & got these codes

14......24.......42

This morning had no problems

Either remove the battery leads for about half an hour

Are you sure that's long enough? ;)

Pulling EFI1 fuse for a few seconds will clear the ECU of stored codes and not lose all your radio stations. Then try checking the codes before even starting the car - it should be completely free of them.
