Hi all one for you technical bods out there,

Just wondered what's the correct way of checking & setting up the sub throttle sensor & throttle motor that's directly opposite it.

As mine i think has a slight problem with either there setting up or one of those two units.

As for the past few months Ive had slip light flashing done code check & showing faults 41 & 47 which are down to sub throttle sensor. When i start car up you can here the motor turning & it keeps clicking like over turning over & over for about 20-30 seconds afterwards.

Undone 4 screws holding motor today & manually checked butterfly operation to make sure nothing was sticking & all OK. Motor does some sort of turning too when engine started. once again put all back together & still doing these strange clicking sounds when started in throttle body & stops after 20-30 seconds.

Just wondered whats the correct way of checking & setting up these 2 units & how to know if one of them are faulty ???

Done plenty of searches to find out info about this but cannot see none about.

Many Thanks Lui

Dont take it out Lui, makes the auto box really jerky.

Have you not called mark to ask him?

Yes he reckons it the motor but i would like to confirm this first as motor unit is not cheap & do not want to purchase something when the old one might be fine
