Sharpie Posted December 29, 2004 Share Posted December 29, 2004 Check the side mount intercooler as if it's still a stock unit from new then nine times out of ten I'd say it's ready to be replaced. Some of the imports come with the BIGGER brakes so, you don't need to buy a UK'er just for those - However, insurance will be cheaper on a UK car. Gearboxes are bomb proof and as for the turbo's, if the oil has been changed as it should be done they will last - At BPU......it's just a count down to that single upgrade (I'm not saying that at BPU the turbos will fail very quickly but, they are being pushed harder so, the life of them will be shortened).
