colsoop
They have been phased out completely. so these may be a final batch at a good price. Assuming they aren't factory repaired units then you have got a good deal and happy snapping I would also invest in the canon ef 50mm lens for £70 it is much sharper than the kit lens and produces some great photos if you like to use photos in max quality and size HERE
Pete
Well he's not replying yo my request for name/address or to call me. I'll give it a couple of days and see if yours turn up I reckon. Nice tip on the lens Col, I'd read a review the standard one is a bit poor.

michael
You reckon he's straight up then? Are you having one too? Hard to say, it seems too good to be true but it's an older model so maybe there are pallets of them to sell off close to cost... I'm resisting at present despite it being a potentially good buy, my FZ30 does most of the things I need at the moment and I have other things to spend £200 on. Hope it works out for everyone though. The colours on nifty 50s are spot on thou. I would recomend if anyone is starting out to play with the stock lens for the time being. oh and something you guys will find nice, how to use it! : http://www.usa.canon.com/content/rebelxt_tutorial/rebelxtlessons.htm

JamesC
Feedback still coming in good from that seller, plus she/he is responding to my ebay questions in a timely fashion, i should be expecting a tracking number tomorrow they say They havent responded to me since i paid for the item. I just asked them to post it insured/special delivery and to let me know if there was an additional charge. Their address was on the receipt anyway so at least i know where they live
Todd
He's got some more as well http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360002211782 Old man is getting one, he owned one a few months back but sold it and got the 400 but reckons it's nearly as good as the 350. Tenner cheaper here though http://www.onestop-digital.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_26&products_id=109 You may even be able to get it even cheaper, there's a guy who sells a lot of stuff on ebay (username kerso). I bought my 70-300IS lens from him, MUCH cheaper than a lot of places (although one stop digital was close I believe). Email him at [email protected]

Cheers for info, im looking for a new macro lens so will give that guy a try
Thorin
Cheers for info, im looking for a new macro lens so will give that guy a try He is good, I bought the lens from him outside of ebay without ever buying anything from him before. He pretty much does most of his business on the strength of recommendations from others I believe. A search on most of the big photography forums for "kerso" should bring up glowing praises. His stuff is shipped direct from HK though, just so you're aware in case the fact that it's not an official UK one bothers you (I don't know how canon would regard warranty claims for example). But then he may offer replacements himself I don't know.

Pete
I have verified that she is on the electoral role at the address on the receipt provided when you do pay. This doesn't mean too much though if her account has been hacked. I'd say that's unlikely though seeing as she's still trading on it regularly?
