Don't understand why people that are getting refunds are leaving positive feedback?

They advertise the cameras as available, say they will be with you in 3-5 days and nothing for 2 weeks, sorry, still nothing!

That to me does not deserve a positive :(

mine eventually turned up!!!

Ok so it didn't  Sent an e-mail today cancelling the order and requesing a refund, knowing my luck it would probably have turned up this week :p

Just bought a refurbished 350d, apparently refurbished means "Refurbished products are 100% OK and therefore we can offer them with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. There is nothing wrong with these products! All refurbished products are sealed with an authentic Canon seal! " So i just paid £185 for one, which isn't bad. Lets hope it turns up :D

I was led to believe that you couldn't sell anything on Ebay that you didn't actually hold in stock.

That's what happened with the Nintendo Wii I ordered off some bloke from Ebay. He took the order and my money, saying that he had them in stock at that time, when as we all know now, Nintendo were unable to fulfill many orders before Christmas.

I eventually got a refund, and ordered it through sendit.com, and had it within a week, well before Christmas.

I pointed the whole thing out the the ebay people. Basically they couldn't give a toss.

I explained that she was taking money for them, still putting more stock on, still taking money.

They weren't interested.

I asked them to confirm the money would be 'safe' through their PayPal guarantee - no comment. This little fiasco has taught me a few things.

1) People will very easily hand over money for a good buy.

2) They will wait quite a while before asking for a refund

3) eBay don't give a flying f*ck.

Well

Im really sorry to hear you all had such trouble.

I have a solution for me;

I am going to buy a Canon 40D with 17-85 lens from Jessops; after cashback costs 719 I cant find cheaper but as I will be face to face with the spotty kid in there I will get a free bag as well, bet ya!

(probably a free mem car too if Im feeling really cheeky.

reviews of this camera are very very positive and I will be using it to take pictures of armadillos:)
