p111ddy
Could someone clear this up for me please? Im about to send payment to the US via paypal But never done it before! Someone said they sent payment for a large amount & it took age's for it to clear at the other end? Is there any reason why this happens? So i can make sure payment goes through swiftly & without any hassle? Also any advice welcomed please Thanks for those who can help
RobSheffield
As far as i know as long as the money is 'on' paypal or you fund paypal by credit/debit card it should go right through, if you fund by bank account it will go as an 'echeque' and take up to 9 days i think it is
Jake
I've sent about £500 via paypal to Kyle before and it didn't cause any delay at all. I think it might depend on how your PayPal account is funded. Mine come stright off my credit card.

p111ddy
Mine will be done by my debit card as I dont do credit cards. So im guessing that will be fine? Also I've only ever used paypal before & that was for my membership here:D
bigcol
i sold some stuff on ebay and because the amount was over £600 they limited my account (even though i was verified) i wouldnt trust them as far as i could throw them, well thats just my experience with sending money abroad:p i would trust a bank transfare 100% more than those robbing fleabay tossers

bigcol
the thing i have learned with paypal is that untill you have become verified (it tells you how to if you havent already done it) you are limited to the amount you can send and recieve, the only semi-good thing is that your money is (or should be) insured up to £500 but ive had that much crap from them i am totally biased where other members have had no problems at all, plus it depends on wether you pay direct debit or credit card or debit card etc, but if its less than £500 you should be ok
Rayman
You just pay straight from you card ,its doesnt have to wait in your paypal account.

p111ddy
It's showing a aloud spending limit of £1,690.00 GBP & the amount I'm sending is $2100.80 US so approx £1240 So will this cause any issue's then?
