GT sports cars

Well my supra's gone now and I'm in a 4x4 at the moment. I'm talking to an import dealer about importing an NA, he seems to think I can get a decent low mileage Gunmetal for 6-7k.

Before I commit to importing I'd appreciate people's advice as I know a lot of peope on here drive a varied amount of sports cars.

Basically I'm after a GT sports car. ie, big engined, powerful (NA spec is perfect) but with the comfort as it must be my daily driver. Budget, ideal 6-8k, I will spend upto 14k for the right car.

Thoughts so far (must be manual):

Gunmetal NA 1997/98+

Nissan 350Z

VX220 (outsider)

I did toy with the idea of a TT but not really suited to daily commuting, or the elise but not very comfortable (I'm 6foot4).

I want to stick with the new car for at least 2 years, so any opinions on the above or alternatives post away...

6-7 K for an NA is a lot of money in the current climate IMO

You try finding one lol! Really want under 50k and they are rare as fook. I'm on ebay, PH, here...nothing. Its my first choice though.

I know what you mean though, I could get a really nice TT for that money, doesn't make sense.

If I was buying another Supra with your budget I would have to think about this one

Fantasic 6 speed with great looks and has had a lot of work done but is still a daily driver with out any issues :)

I posted in that thread, one of the nicest Supras I've ever seen. As nice as it is, and maybe I'm a little short sighted, the mileage is too high for me to spend that money.

He made me look at the pics again :(

She's stunning. A weekend car, yes. A daily driver where I live, no. IMO.
