edge
He's lush. Nice head and big paws. I know they cant dock the tails now but is it the same for dew claws as he still has his. I have 2 dobes also and love them to bits. Have you had dobes before?

Sheefa
He looks lovely mate. What are Dobermans like to keep? Are they quite timid? My old dears are thinking about getting another dog and they've mentioned a Doberman a few times. We have a Tibetan at the mo so would be interesting to see how they would get on. This is my first time havin a Dobe and so far he has been fantastic, learns very quickly , eager to please, fantastic pisser and shitter! He is very cuddly until you noise him up then you can get a hell of a good fight going. If you socialise them they are great with other dogs too. I would recommend them to anyone as a pet ,very loyal dog as i'm sure other owners will tell you.He looks lovely mate. What are Dobermans like to keep? Are they quite timid? They need alot of time and effort, like all other dogs do but a bit more. The more time and effort you put in the dog will return it a thousand times over. Socialise them well from as young as possible and also get a pup from as young as possible also as its a big breed to get a possibly dangerous abused (rescue) one. You need to be firm from the start and never back down. And by firm i dont mean knock the crap out if them but a good stinger on the arse and this will hurt your hand more than it will the dog. Best way with dobes is to grab them by the scruff and get them to lay down on their side in asubmisive position. My boy tired it on with me twice by growling and snarling and after a firm hand he never done it again, he was only 2 months old. you need to be pack leader as these are very dominant dogs, bitches are not so bad but are more protective. Dont over excersice your pup too much when they are young, a couple of half hour walks a day until they are about 9 - 12 months then up it to a good hours walk (this is protect there vunerable joints etc) . When they are about 1 1/2 to 2 years they will be more than ready to run with you all day and they will be a pain in the arse and troublesom if they are underexcercised. Also try and go for a dog with a good blood line and decent scoring throughout its family. Hope this may help and feel free to ask any questions about dobes as they are our life but im not too hot on other breeds apart from pressa's,staffies and filas.
