Bobbeh
I want Joe to win.. but I think if Hatton beats Mayweather the votes will go his way.. plus 2 big boxing names could split the vote and a less deserving person could sneak it! juanchan
So long as Lewis doesn't win it. I appreciate he achieved a lot in his first year in F1, but I'm not sure he deserves to win just yet.

I totally agree with Bobbeh in that I want Calzaghe to win it but if, as he suggests the votes are split I think Hamilton could sneak it which would be wrong imo. Bobbeh
Indeed.. I wouldnt mind if Jason Robinson sneaked it tho
jamesmark
Wilkinson I would say has no chance, the only thing he has acheived is going a full season with no injury.
Ian W
Wilkinson I would say has no chance, the only thing he has acheived is going a full season with no injury. Not even entirely sure he managed that, did he?
Jake
Hamilton will it. Calzaghe should get it, IMO. But then Calzaghe has never got the credit he deserves. If Hatton or Calzaghe get it I will be both very happy and completely amazed. The voting public know next to nothing about boxing nowadays. And I blame Sky for that. Gordon F
Hope it goes to someone who has actually won something - Hatton, Calzaghe - maybe not Christine Ohuruogu. Lewis will win, but now it's all down to how big the media profile is and not the actual sporting achievement. If it were for the 'Sports Personality' - Frankie Dettori would win it every year
neil tt
Robinson, can have my vote:)
Conrad
How do you vote for this? Is it a phone in on the day? As already said Calzaghe deserves it, at the moment anyway. But if Hatton does the unthinkable and beats Mayweather then he should win it hands down. To beat a 5 weight world champion considered the best boxer walking the planet is no mean feat! I'm a huge boxing fan and it frustrates me how British boxers get overlooked of late. As Jake says, it's all down to tv coverage. Hamilton will probably steal it though.... Sheefa
My dad's going to this the lucky git. I reckon Hamilton will sneak it, although he neither deserves it or would appreciate it as much as others, IMHO.

Thorin
For me, Calzaghe or Toseland... but I think Hamilton will get it.
Gazboy
This is wide open imo. Can't agree that Hamilton doesn't deserve it, just because the media have jumped all over him doesn't make someone less worthy. Rose, Murray and Ohuruogo aren't in the running imo. Radcliffe winning the marathon this year was a huge acheivement and I think she'll get a lot of votes from the women.
CJ
What do the bookies say? I would be amazed if Hamilton isn't a hot favourite.
