pa06has
Want to do my dash in alcantana; anyone got this done? Im looking for someone to do it, But im tempted to buy some alcantana material and do it myself! Was thinking it cant be hard! Clean up dash / sand dash / cut material to fit / glue! What does everyone think?

Stevo
Yeah, that looks pretty neat. The various aluminium rings on the group buys at the minute would set that off really well.
Konrad
Yea. Ah, and rings around heater controls was corrected till now, I used cigarette lighter rings (2 punds/piece at Toyota).
jevansio
That alcantara looks great, slight hijack but has anyone pics of ones covered in leather. Been debating whether or not to get mine covered in leather, since I've hacked up my centre console I don't think any amount of rubbing back is going to get a smooth finish. Any reason why leather is a bad idea?
Bossco
You could take your dash out and two pack prime it, then its smothe and ready for you to do as you please. Have a look at mine the next time we meet Jay, its easy done.

pa06has
How did you do the roof lining? - I may be tempted to dye my roof lining instead of the alcantana option!
edge
How did you do the roof lining? - I may be tempted to dye my roof lining instead of the alcantana option! If you have standard grey roof lining dont try it! I tried one of the sun visors and it turned out poop. Go for a covering and not the dye. supra steveo
dont do it ive heard the roof liner absorbs the dye and it just looks dirty
