ivan
Ring MS. They were pulled up in the courts as they released the XBox360 knowing it was faulty. They have to fix/replace by law now. My son is sending his off right now. Free fix, free collection and delivery.
squiffy
it was my missus present when we bought our new house in jan 07 just call customer services, have your receipt and serial number handy. they will ask you to basically turn it off then on again to check that it really is broken:rolleyes: then will email you a prepaid post label. then you give ups a call and arrange collection date. takes 2 weeks plus postage time so i was told

JustGav
You can do it online. I did with my mine, if you go to the xbox website, there is a support option which allows you to register your device and faulty. They will then email you a UPS label and a phone number. Job done

Sconchy
I too had problems a couple of years ago but fair play to MS - they sent a coffin out and I had it back within the week. Its a pain I know but if you ask me, it sure beats the hell out of ALL other consoles and would never get rid of it!!!

Cable
Don't they tend to come back from being fixed minus all your saves and downloads etc? That would be a big pain in the ass...
