Matt i would steer clear of the TVR, have you even found out if you can insure one ?

For less than £40 k (quite a bit less) i would get an R34 GTR.

Not looked into insurance on anything as im jsut wondering what peoples opinions are on the car, as this stage im not going to go through the nightmare of tyring to find cover

what's your realistic budget?

30k-35k, but if i dipped into my savings a little more (which preferably i dont want to do) then i could push 40k - but that would have to be one of those, this car has been owned by jennifer ellison and she left a home video of her shaggin in the car in it kind of cars. if oyu know what i mean ;)

Depends if you like putting your own stamp on a car or not, I mean yes the Ferraris, TVRs etc will be awesome, but not much point in modifying them unless you have LOADS of money.

If you're not going to get the modifying bug then Porsche, Ferrari, TVR etc are all good suggestions.

If you like the modifying scene though, and I know I do ;), then for me it would be a properly built serious Supra or modified R34 GTR.
