shaking it too much ha ha

Its actually to do with the fact that its a big heat release from the body. Your... erm pee... is at body temp and then all of a sudden that heat 'reserve' is no longer in your body and its just your brain realising this by 'jolting' its own heat generator ie. shivering.

I think it depends on how cold the toilet area is too. If its a warm day I don't think I've experienced it as much, but if its cold, and going on from the heat loss suggestion, then it can and does happen sometimes. :)

Maybe as women are sitting down in this case, I think they may not notice it as much, but then again, what do I know! :D

If they are sitting down then they also have the added issue of heat transfer to the toilet seat which as we all know is usually a bit chilly.
