Right i know im leaving myself open to all kinds of jokes and abuse here but i hey here we go......

.....I've had problems with my car of late an after spending 2 days in my local peformance garage and them not being ale to find the problem i read up on here on they whole error codes and self diagnosis post. Not being the most mechanically minded of fellows I'm unsure as to which light is being referred to by "check engine light" and im also unsure of where it is located.

I bridged the connections and turned the key but was lost as to what i was looking for lol.......So i'm admitting im not the brightest spark but please could someone tell me where the light is located or post a pic :p

Cheers Ben.

I think you might mean something along these lines but i don't know about it on the Sup.

On the MR2 you can paperclip the diagnosis port in the engine bay and when you turn the key the check engine light starts to flash. The amount of flashes is the error code stored in the ECU. You can write down the error codes then check them against a list to find any issues with your car.

I know how to do this in the MR2 but its no use for the Sup. If you can do it on the sup though hopefully my description will help you get your answer.
