Supranature
I've had that one, and several others over the last three weeks. Ono even used my rare surname to state that a long lost relative had died in USA and they had $5million to leave to me, providing I supply them with details listed above. Scary, even scarier is the fact that some people will reply with requested details. How do I report this to Yahoo?

lexsum
what about this when i asked a guy on ebay why his lotus exige was so cheap (£10k rather than £20k it ought to be), response: "Hello , Thank you for your interest in purchasing my car. The vehicle is in good condition, has no technical damage at all, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects, kept in our own garage. The car is HPI clear. The car is an UK model with UK specs with 3000 miles. I am the owner of the car, It is cleared of any obligations or fees and comes with all the documents you need to register it. I must inform you that currently I'm in Ireland. The car is now located at the ebay storehouse in Cork, Ireland. The car will be shipped and insured by ebay. ebay will act as a 3rd party for our transaction. You will not have to pay additional taxes for this. To be able to receive or pick up the car you'll have to make a £10,800.00 payment to ebay by bank transfer. This is the total price of the car, including the delivery. After you inspect the car if anything seems wrong you'll be able to receive a refund from ebay. Please send me your full name and shipping address to forward them to ebay. They will contact you with more details. Thanks for your interest, please feel free to email me any questions or concerns you may have. Respectfully, " so i sent him my 10k, held back the 800 just in case...... well you never know! still no car yet but when it arrives...... JustGav
I remember a few months when a bloke on ebay bid and won the phone and wanted it shipping somewhere interesting (read scam), even got an email with confirmation from paypal of the money transfer (well okay it was supposed to look like it), and the bloke carried on emailing saying he had paid and that he was raising a complaint...blah blah... So I dug out an old tracking number from the previous day and sent that, the cheeky git had the balls to say I had sent him a dodgy tracking number.... Never did hear anything after I posted his IP address and ISP details to himself and his ISP...

Never did hear anything after I posted his IP address and ISP details to himself and his ISP... i had that myself, he wanted it shipping to indionesia or somewhere, he paid the paypal and i knew something wasnt right as he kept emailing to see if id sent it 1 hour after he won it, i told him yes and he cancelled the paypal payment, paypal turned round and said basically "tough we dont deal with those countries" so i almost lost my phone, so i sent a letter to him saying "ha ha wanker your scam didnt work" unfortunately others have fallen for other fleabay scams

marbleapple
Isn't there a famous website (so famous i can't remember it) in which people scammed the scammers and got loads of photo evidence etc?
Dash Rendar
The giveaway with all these scams is the absolutely appalling grammar, spelling, and lack of punctuation. You'd think, given that they send these out to tens of thousands of people, that they might at least make an effort to make the message look credible. F*ckt4rds.
