MaRkYbOy72
Just wondering, does anyone know whether a Mivec GPX FTo is faster 0 to 60 than a N/A with decat and exhaust?
Adam
I would say N/A. My bro had a mivic and it didn`t feel that fast in my opinion

Guigsy
0-60 mph is around 7.5 seconds for the FTO apparently The NA is about 5.7 i think? In conclusion the FTO is slow

Havard
Add at least another second to that I think. I thought 6.2 was the official 0 - 60 for the NA..
Daston
NA is around the 6 second mark My MR2 GT used to stick with FTOs no problems so a NA supe shouldnt have any problems at all
louisjames
imo, the only good mitsi has to be the evo. and as they plainly only spent money on development with that one car, so it should be. even the shogun/pajeros are terribly unreliable. not to mention the gto. carl0s
I thought 6.2 was the official 0 - 60 for the NA.. That sounds too quick for a 220bhp heavy car. I'd have though it was 6.8 or something

Matt H
I had a Colt a while ago with a 1.6 Mivec engine, it was supposed to produce 172bhp (according to mitsubishi), it made 150 on the rolling road, thats with the basic breathing mods which should in theory give it a couple more. What im saying is, MIVEC, doesnt really make a difference, the FTO is a tuned 2 litre, thats it nothing more.

colsoop
Book figures mean diddly squat. proffessional drivers with no care or mechanical sympathy for the car along with the optimum possible conditions are how those times are set Incidentally how are you going to test this or is it a willy waving contest between mates
R Black
I always thought you would just break into the sixes with a manual & early sevens with an N/A or does the auto work as well on an N/A?
