peter richards
they changed the add campagne as it was misleading , and plus people were asking for their money back , as they didnt feel anything after two weeks . there was a programme on the other day , i think they did research on all the brands out there and i think only two had enough friendly bacteria in them to make a difference to the stomach ,as said above just stop eating what doesnt agree with you , spend the savings on the car lol:)

jazz1
another guy who had the same problem as me "As I am a sufferer of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, my doctor recommended I. I drink Actimel daily and since I first began drinking it, I can honestly say I feel better for it. Also it has had a great effect on my Irritable Bowel Syndrome as before I drank Actimel I would have regular flair ups two to three times a week, but since using Actimel I only find I have the symptoms about two to three times a month if that. Saying this I highly recommend this product to everyone, especially if you suffer from I.B.S as you could well find as I did that it has a good effect for you and helps your problem improve, because for me it has had a huge effect for the better, and a great benefit to my health." colsoop
Jazz sounds to me like you have irritable bowel syndrome. have you ever been checked out for it ?
Pete
maybe theres nothing wrong with your stomach, i think it works on people like me, if you have a digestive or bowel problem Hence why I tried it. I have to avoid anything with lots of fat in it and certain herbs/spices are dire. Had tests etc and nothing suspect in my stools, bacteria or otherwise. I just have a dodgy system I guess. Fifty
Ive been having issues with over acid production for years; went to quack who gave me a tablet to take once a day -voila not a single problem since; except Im now worried bout when they run out. Mine is caused by stress I think; this drugs regulates the acid pump:p Tried Actimel before and it does seem to help a little, glad youre feeling better Rich

Chris Wilson
Eating raw eggs??? You sure like to give your gut a workout! Even dogs don't tolerate raw eggs too well I have a bit of a dickie tummy, but I find it's very stress related. Sometimes I can kid myself it's X that causes it (and if X is ten pints of Rogers bitter, it usually is...) other times I think it's psychosomatic. Glad you have found relief. Try shoving some down the dogs lug `ole?
michael
What were the results of your studies? That you suck at studies I work for a big dairy with labs full of clever people, they are constantly publishing info regarding this stuff because we also make one, they contain bacteria, normal milk does too, and enzymes, just different types to those created for these products. I have no idea what tests you'd carry out to isolate Lactobacillus Casei Imunitass but I do know that plenty of normal foods contain the prebiotics that help the probiotics to flourish and that a balanced diet containing these can be more beneficial due to the extra stuff these foods provide over a little bottle of white stuff. keancy
Mine is caused by stress I think; this drugs regulates the acid pump:p Rich PPI = Proton pump inhibitors, I had them for a little while earlier this year as I suffer with IBS and acid reflux too. Those things are lethal, have you read what side effects those buggers have?? I came off those a bit quick and now take 2 x Ranitidine a day. They only reduce acid rather then stop it completely. After all the stomach creates acid for a reason. I also have 1 actimel every morning and they do work a treat.

RobSheffield
Meh, I don't care if it's full of worms to be honest, I don't see any of the profits Tis a shame. FWIW, if half the experiments we did were anything to go by, it probably has everything it claims and more Polish teachers and 1970s equipment did not assist our understanding of a fairly complex suibject!
