Paul372 Posted November 25, 2007 Share Posted November 25, 2007 this has happened a couple of times now, driving along everythings fine then all of a sudden the overdrive and slip con lights on the dash just start flashing on and off alternately to each other. i have to pull over turn the car off to get the lights to go off and when i turn the car back on everythings seems fine again, i have no idea whats wrong could it be a senor going wrong? help please:( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guigsy Posted November 25, 2007 Share Posted November 25, 2007 my od light flashes sometimes and the TRC light stays on. no idea what it means. but it only happens sometimes. 80% of the time its ok. i just have to turn it off and start it up again. hiten55 Posted November 25, 2007 Share Posted November 25, 2007 i had this mate. check the error codes, usually something to do with a bad signal from the trac control sensor (Gaz1 helped me find this - remember mate?). anyway, i found that theres a sensor that fits into the side of the gearbox (passenger side of the car), took that out, cleaned it, changed the gearbox fluid and hey presto, problem solved Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest dangerousandy Posted November 25, 2007 Share Posted November 25, 2007 My TRC seems to work on my UK spec auto when i PFD too hard in the wet (or hit a drain, bump in road etc!) but I can't seem to turn it off using the switch in the console!
