Hi

Yesturday parked my car, switched engine off pulled the handle to open the door but nothing,, the door wasnt opening and i was locked in...Had to wind the window down and open the door from the handle outside...

Now i dont know what the hell is wrong with the door. It opens fine from outside, locks with the central locking, but i cant open it from inside. I dont know but i think it might be illigal aswell (in case of emergency and i cant open door)...

What could it be and/or what can i do myself before having to take it and get my wallet stolen from me at a garage?

There will be a bit of wire in there like brake cable on a bike. It will have a round head at the end that fits into the door handle on the inside. Probably just come away from where it clips into.

checked that and it was still there, i also looked down the inside of the door at the locking mechanism n saw that when i was pulling the handle the wire was moving inside, but looks like its not pulling enough....what can i do, looks like a big job as im going to have to try and get the locking mechanism out...
