Seb
Just a quick one - I got a 3 phone on contract yesterday, and I've got one of these sim back-up things, so I was trying to load my contacts off the device onto my card, and while it detected the card it kept saying sim error. Do you reckon this is because I may not yet have been connected so soon after getting my phone? Cheers Seb
JustGav
I believe that the 3G phones use a USIM which is different to a standard sim that goes in a phone... So it might not be able to read it... Gav
Seb
Bollocks... thanks for that Gav. Now, how to I get my phone numbers across to my new phone?! Phone is blocked so I can't just copy them straight from the sim as it won't let me use my old Orange one. Any ideas? Seb
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
my lass works at orange ans she says there is no way of getting ur nuumbers as its blocked, u can unlock it for £20, and yes i have already asked her and she wont do it case she gets sacked. u will need to speak to the help desk. Seb
Hmmm, pay £20, or just spend half an hour entering all my numbers manually... damn my poorness... Thanks for the advice Seb
tepster
is phone blocked or the sim? if its only the phone that is blocked u can still retrieve the numbers from the sim. if u know any one who has a nokia 3220 they will copy numbers from a 3g sim to a normal sim and vice versa
