SupraStar 3000
Normally macs are solid when it comes to reliability and safety but mine has just download over 9000 emails I had already seen including junk, deleted all my cookies (with all my login details) and cleared my bookmarks. Looks like another weekend sat by a computer trying to fix it

AndrewOW
Are you using Firefox or Safari? Have you got any anti spam software running for your email?
SupraStar 3000
Sorry guys. I wasn't downloading or surfing (Safari.) and noticed the computer acting very slow. Next minute the screen had frozen and on restart I discovered all my internet and mail details screwed. Appreciate you trying to help but I doubt nothing can be done now. Its too late. AndrewOW
To me that sounds very weird! Have you updated to Leopard yet at all, as there have been cases of that OS being open to abuse by others? Macs aren't as 'safe' as they once were, unfortunately Sorry to hear you're having trouble though. Hope you get it sorted quickly. Maybe we'll have to look into getting some anti-virus software. My goodness, how depressing!
SupraStar 3000
Still on 10.3.9 at home mate. I don't think its a virus or hack, more likely glitch or BT playing silly buggers AGAIN. Seems fine again now. Just a minor inconvenience thats all

AndrewOW
My very good friend, Steve Capon, is the inventor of the invelope. Its basically a collapsible plastic box with an integral lid, which he pitched to Brighton Council and they have tested it as an effective refuse sack holder and 'recycling' box until the rubbish is removed by the binmen, to save them getting wet or ripped apart by seagulls/foxes. Steve's just got back from China with the designs for Invelope Mk2, which is a much stronger injection moulded version, that will then be able to be made in many different sizes, materials and colours. Working samples should be ready by Jan '08. The 'Binvelope' as it was called then, was on episode 6 on the first series of Dragon's Den, where Steve and another Steve were featured pitching the item. Most of the Dragon's were interested, but they were asking for too much equity, which would've upset us, the shareholders, so he was told "to go and make his millions". We're still waiting A long answer. Well you did ask
