Ian C
Quote: from Mycroft on 11:58 pm on Mar. 26, 2002[br]You need only disconnect the two ends wrap the joints and wait. Ian C, I know you are not technical but really...all 'vacuums' create suction by forcing air out the 'other' end, you are a funny man! I'm going to be even more non-technical now and ask how this would help if the hoses were split/holed somewhere other than the ends that form the joints - some of the pipes are quite long... The 'other' end of vacuum cleaners tend to be a large surface area vent, to actually avoid a noticeable blowing force - it would be impractical to attempt to connect that to a hose. Of course, if you have a vacuum cleaner with a blower nozzle built in (do they exist? I've never seen one), it's easy to forget that most of them aren't built like that! But then, I'm not an expert on vacuums (and never intend to be) Anyway, I'm sure your method is possible, I was just looking for practical ways of checking the whole system, pipes, intercooler, the lot - not just the joints. -Ian
