Little bit of advice, if you do buy online, get yourself one of these pay as you go credit cards... Only put the cash in that you need for the purchase at the time. Yes it is a bit of a faff around, HOWEVER it does mean that your account doesnt get cleaned out.

Ooh a good idea! It'll stop me spending lots of money I don't have. Cheers for the advice :)

I have just checked my account, and all my money is out to, including my overdraft. i only got paid friday and havent spent alot at all since then.....went to get a pizza and my card was declined, thought that was strange, so checked at at a hole in the wall and it said i could withdraw £0

Great!

Oh dear. I do feel for you.

My first advice is get straight on to your bank, cancel your debit/credit cards etc, and if you use internet banking, let the bank know as soon as you know where the money's gone.

Hopefully, the bank will just bounce the missing money back to you, but you will have to find out which transactions weren't authorised by you.

Good luck, but you may have to raid some other piggy banks to top your account up, or use another account until you get the money back. :)
