Jamesy
Hi guys can anyone tell me what difference i could expect going from the Superdragger to the Nur Spec R? Will it sound a lot louder than the HKS? Should it bolt straight onto my 3" bore 2nd decat pipe? thanx!

Jamesy
hi guys sorry to bang on but doing a bit of research to see what the difference in sound is..... after listening to the 2 videos below i cant tell a huge difference (and also, on the Nur Spec one, it doesnt seem a LOT louder with the baffle out - is it just my ears??!?!!?!? ) Super dragger: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6FqWAC68wkU Nur Spec R: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2e-0FVykvX8 i dont know whether its worth going for the Nur Spec R after seeing these....but i do want it louder
Tones
in a nutshell yes its a bit louder(piping is straighter on nur spec) but why bother change??? nur spec looks nicer than the super drager but i wudnt bother changing ok?
Dazzi
Personally I like the nur spec r (thats my vid btw ). I won't lie, it is loud, especially on an N/A, also looks good IMO, the super dragger just looks bulky.
jevansio
Just get a HKS Ti Racing
Tones
Dont fanny about on this one,If u want a louder note than the super drager just go and buy a BL system or the veilside teardrop one!!!!
Need4Speed
Blitz Nür is the mut's nuts. You can run quiet (ish) with the baffle or LOUD (ish) without. IMHO it is the definitive Supra back box.
hadyn
Blitz is a great zorst, is louder (and possibly lighter than the dragger) is made of stainless and wont rot from the inside out like the mild steel super dragger
Tones
DRAGER, ONE "G"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My God for the past 5 years or so ive been hearing people calling it super dragger, im going insane, ok rant over
Homer
There's two downsides to the NUR: It drones horribly on the motorway They hang very low under the rear axle
Tones
Yep kept hittin mine over ramps alright, hmmmmmmmm, still i wouldnt bother going from a hks s.drager to a nurspec, might aswell go all out if ur changing

Homer
There's a big difference in sound between the Drager and the NUR, the NUR it much louder and a nicer sound IMO. The BL is about as loud as they get, but on a TT won't be that much louder than a NUR. They only come into their own when on a single, then they sound like hell is coming I'd recommend the RSR, very nice sound (Similar to the NUR), fairly light, nice straight pipe and excellent ground clearance. Have you seen the exhaust and BOV video Tom put together?
Dazzi
use smaller rubber rings on the exhaust bracket and it won't hang so low - have a play around. Ive never hit mine once even over them school bumps http://www.greatwyrley.org.uk/GWhome_files/image008.jpg
Homer
Here's the vid I mentioned earlier: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=93260 For some reason the BL on the video isn't labled, but it's about the 3rd one in on a black car. Sounds the dogs The video of the RSR is my car, a very long time ago!

Dash Rendar
and also, on the Nur Spec one, it doesnt seem a LOT louder with the baffle out - is it just my ears??!?!!?!? I had the Nur Spec R on my old car and there is a BIG difference between baffle in and baffle out. With the baffle in, it sounds reasonably tame, although it also makes the exhaust sound like it's "blowing". (This happens with removable baffles in all exhausts I've come across.) It still drones at 80 on the motorway though. Honestly... It's not nice. With the baffle out, the Nur Spec R sounds pretty awesome, especially when you're giving it some around town. One last comment: I dyno'd my old car with and without baffle, and the baffle cost me about 15bhp due to lost boost. Of course, if you had a boost controller, you could circumvent that loss of boost by upping the duty.
