dude
To put it in perspective , auto J-spec , stock block /cams/head, 1 walboro, 650 inj, stock box and converter with a BL kit with 67 P trim at 1.2 bar EASILY pulled away from a year 2000 M5 6 spd , the difference was amazing it made the BMW look stupid from any speed , wether we started from 30 mph or 120 it just ripped away from it !!!! BTW i was in the BMW Dude :flame Dev

MONKEYmark
what was traction like. a bpu can be pretty bad. must be good fun with a small fast spooling turbo. cant wait to see how they all go next year at strip now they all getting sorted out mapping wise. there was a thread about traction and singles on supra furums a bit ago even the smaller turbos can struggle for traction. this thread needs video footage

Paul Laing
Unless the clutch is slipping on the single.... Just kidding, the twins wouldn't be in the same league as a BIG single
Geezabloke
John apart from bigger injectors and the pump were there any other fuel mods? Also what was the lag like with the standard Torque Converter? Am i right in thinking the UK spec would adapt to this easier due to higher lift cams and better fueling to start? Dave The lag is 'acceptable' , Frank is now thinking of a stall converter and NOS and a box upgrade so be quick if you want a drive , the UK cams may well make it tad more laggy but not as youd notice , if you keep the boost down you will get away with the 550 inj, in fact as you have got used to a UK youd prob be fine going for a T88 and huge cams lag wise !!!! Matt Harwood
Just going off this quote Mark Even with a slipping clutch, I didn't see too many, (read none), stock turbo'd cars manage 178.3 on the top speed run...
