Alex
I don't want O'Neill to go for the job - TBH I think the FA treated him so poorly he wouldn't want it....
hoff
Yeh last time round they almost gave it to him, he wanted it then they shat on him. Thats the FA for you. Perhaps now they will take a look at themselves and take some of the blame for a change. The whole FA needs a good shake down and structure change IMO. mattanna
Anyone other than Mourinho is second best and we will not move anywhere, if England want a chance of ever being good again he has to be the one, at almost any cost

Kieran
Can't see it happening, but I'd like Guus Hiddink to take over. As well as getting Russia to the Euros last night, he finished 4th in the 2002 World Cup with South Korea who'd never won a World Cup finals match before the tounament, got Australia to the second round last year and won loads of trophies in Holland. And, obviously, he's got far more tactical nous than the last 3 or 4 England managers we've had and would have a decent chance of winning something with the players we've got, who are still quality players but just can't seem to play as a team. As for Mourinho, he's obviously a very good manager (bit of a twat though) but why does everybody think he's the best ever? It's not really like he didn't have the players or the money to spend at Chelsea is it? He did a good job winning the Champions League with Porto, but so did Benitez when he won it with an fairly poor Liverpool side (and I'm a Liverpool fan).
