iaintslow
Where do you guys install these? Stock sensor hole is way too small. Thanks
Chris Wilson
Drill it out and re tap? Or you can get nasty hose adaptors to go in the top hose. I only use mechanical gauges, unless running a digiatl dash, I just love their simplicity and the good ones are usually MORE accurate than electronic gauges. Supra Pilot
Hi Chris, where do you suggest tapping a hole for this? (other than stock position)
iaintslow
See probe and adapter is so big, its like 3/4" Can i just get T connector and install it into the heater hose in the back of the head? How is the tempereture there compared to stock outlet location?
Digsy
I believe that the heater takeoff is between the head and the block, so the coolant won't be as hot as it is at the main coolant outlet.
bignum
I fitted 1 of those nasty adapters, looks shite but works a treat, and used an old revotek oil temp gauge that looks shit aswell but again does the job,
