dazla
God theres some dodgy feckers out there. I keep getting emails from ebay saying that my acount has been closed due to shill bidding. Telling me to click on the link to resolve the problem. I ignore the link and check with ebay and everything is fine. I guess someone wants me to have a virus:rolleyes: The worst part is that the email is exactly the same as ebays, with the ebay logo, the lot. I get the same type of emails apparently from Nat West and Abbey asking for me to log on and verify account details, even though I have accounts with neither of these banks. dazla
If i had the power to send them the worst virus possible they'd be fcuked now. There's nothing worse than sitting at your computer reading an email from someone trying to screw you for what you've got or to just make life hard as hell. Its so frustrating:badmood:
Soo
I have had the same too...had to change my password 3 times to date. Also get the posts asking for more details on an item for sale (that I am not selling or know anyting about)...when I check on ebay no messages ..nuffink. Wish these peeps would get a life and leave us be !
dazla
Its bad when Norton antivirus blocks an attack on your computer. It asks you would you like to see where the attack came from. Then it shows you on a map, some twat in China from some tel com company. It just really pi$$es me off:rolleyes:

Rayman
Yep best to let people know in the first post as its easily done entering your details in. I always look at the web address of the page, its often a giveaway.

But if it's removed, we lose the value of Jurgen's warning, surely making you more vunerable?
Scoboblio
Dont get it, i dont understand interweb The site was basically a copy of the eBay sign in page (I'm guessing, since my internet explorer blocked it). To read this thread telling you it's a scam, then falling for it 5 seconds later would be..... a bit dim.
