LCD TV for gaming?

CJ

Recommended Posts

The ex wife and I are thinking of buying the youngest lad a 26" LCD TV for Xmas. It will be used primarily for gaming with a Wii and Xbox. Are LCD's suitable for this?

I have been looking at this one here and also this here .

Opinions and advice gratefully accepted. :)

I know that this is £65 more than the one you are looking at, but I bought 2 of these for our games room and have been really impressed with them. The Game Mode on them is an added bonus as it just makes the games look a bit sharper IMO.

It is PC compatible as well, so I use it for PC gaming, 360 and PS2.

check evesham there really good for what you pay.

on lcd i didn't think the xbox 360 looked too good, saying that the only lcd i have played one on is on the demo booths, samsung screen's, also it is meant to make it look better, i found it looks more jaggard, where as on crt all looked smooth and nice, is it just the samsund screens, or maybe just the settings they are using for the demo stands?
