DaveK
Black ash, as per the pic. Slimmer than most floorstanders, but give good quality sound. Won the What Hi-Fi award at the time I bought them, and I only purchased them after hearing demos with a number of speakers (KEF, B&W etc) and I liked these the best. New (about 6.5 years ago), they were £750. Can be bi-wired (which is how I was using them). I found I suffered from bass boom in my lounge too much, so have changed to bookshelf type speakers a few months ago. Excellent condition (if I remember correctly - they are currently in a cupboard). I think I probably have the manual, but won't swear to it. I'm also fairly sure I have the box, but the chances of me going up into the loft to get it are slim. You can hear them work before purchase if necessary. specifications Enclosure type 3-way reflex loaded, floorstanding tower Frequency response ±3dB 48Hz — 20kHz Nominal Impedance 8 Ohms compatible (min. 5Ù) Sensitivity SPL/m/2.83v 89dB Recommended amplifier power 50-200W Crossover frequency 195Hz and 2.5kHz Effective volume 19 litres Cabinet dimensions (HxWxD) 795 x 165 x 295 (mm), 31.3 x 6.5 x 11.6 (inches) Weight 14 Kg (per speaker cabinet) A couple of sets sold on Ebay this month for £250 - so I'll stick mine on there later this week if there is no interest. £200.
