Robert
I had/have still got whiplash from my accident on July 10th, i've not heard anything back from my claim yet. Some idiot in a company car went into the back of me on the m1, he was doing about 40mph while i was stopped at the road works. I still get neck pains and back problems. supra steveo
apperently the Germans like to get the ball rolling fast so i dont know, but physio this early seems a little daft

Mike B
I had a bike crash 6 weeks ago, and I have a similar injury. Nexk hurts and nerve damage in the arms. I went to a physio 2 weeks after when it was not so bad... he started me doing stretching of 2 mins... next morning Iwas in casualty again. Really bad... so don't let them dick around with you. If it hurts there is a reason, and probably because you have aggrevated an existing injury. They can make it worse.. if they start to make you stretch and it hurts listen to you your body! Mrs H
It's a long time since my whiplash injury but I remeber that for the first 24/48 hours it wasn't painful, my neck just felt very warm. Then the pain started! At that time they gave you a collar to wear but now I think keeping it moving is recommended. I got £2.5k but that was about 11 years ago. I still get problems with my neck if I drive for a long time and when it gets cold. Vicki x

Havard
well managed to getaway from physio and i have got the worst head ache ever, going to see about a solicitor this after noon i think I got about £3500 in the same crash as Mrs H mentioned. Looking back, I should have waited longer as I now have constant pain if I drive for any length of time. Not bad considering I'm a sales rep..... The crash was 11 years ago and things still aren't right. I was an engineer at the time and had to change my job as I damaged my back aswell. I would wait at least 12 months to see if there are any after affects. I knew the money would come in handy so I accepted their third offer, which on reflection was f*ck all compared to the amount of aggro the accident caused...... H. stevie_b
i resent all whiplash victims. well the joking ones There's a difference between whiplash and whipcash. The problem is, it's hard to reliably diagnose (AFAIK). Real whiplash is nasty, and can give you pain for the rest of your life.

supra steveo
by the way the German insurance company's don't do things by half they have asked if there is anything in the car that doesn't work now (so that will be the 6 disc changer:) ) they are also looking at giving me money for not being able to do the house work yeah like i did that anyway but i will not complain i might try and pull the wool and get some new boot struts too i defo want some new spats fitted though and the back end tidied up. the engineer will be round tomorrow at 15:00 to inspect it (quick i know ) so it looks like it will be sorted by christmas i think with my compo cash i will have the car tango`ed
