SteveR
My gym has killed 2 people (in their 20s!), both last year in seperate incidents but both were on a treadmill. I wondered if it was the same treadmill and if it was haunted

Count up the number of write offs, major accidents and even deaths in this forum amongst the Supra owning fraternity and fear not the pensioner, but your fellow MKIV owners
Chris Wilson
Gymnasiums remain a mystery of modern life to me. You pay to travel to them, pay them money, often a LOT of money to use their facilities, and having paid you then work up a sweat. Meanwhile your garden's probably a jungle and umpteen energy consuming, muscle toning jobs around the house are ignored, which could give your flaccid body a workout, and SAVE you money. It's the power of the media, and it's scary!
colsoop
I used to go to a local gym where the average age of the members was 60 + i never met a more fit and friendly bunch of people, there was an 85 year old guy there who really impressed me with his activity levels he would do 3 laps of the footie pitch before doing his workout he also played in a jazz band. Going to the gym is proven to increase your life and allow you to not become a withered old soul and be a burden to others, that gym is testament to that. Although in this current climate i don't think i would want to have another 60 odd years on this earth
