Havard
Adverts are on! What is the gist of this then? My 4 year old goes hyper on Coca Cola! Is it a documentary about how it shouldn't be given to kids? H.

michael
Basically a doc on how it's a pretty evil company, loved Hitler, destroys communities and general Marc Thomas stuff like that.
michael
i think it will say how dam harmfull it is, you can feel your teeth rotting as you drink the gack It's more about the way the company operates than the drink itself but I'll get snopes.com ready anyway
Blackie
i went off it when they stopped using cocaine in it
michael
i went off it when they stopped using cocaine in it That's how the prog started, Thomas with a Coca Cola employee chap who denied it ever had cocaine in it followed by a bit to say it did and a mention that the chap who invented it was an Opium addict, of course this doesn't give a very good impression of the company

Gaz Walker
Interesting prog. Thing is you never really know with these documentaries. A bit like Michael Moore. Gaz
jim_supra
You could tell that the guy doing the documentary has had a long term issue with Coca-Cola. The part where he was investigating the water contamination from one of the plants in South America made me laugh, his hands weren't in the water for very long and he was then complaining of itching soon after, I've had oven cleaner on my hands for longer without it itching! The presenter lost credibility when he was doing things like that. All in all I thought it was a poor documentary, and it offered very little in the way of 'facts' just largely supposition and accusations. Agreed but frowned up these days, hence they refuse to admit this was used when it was considered acceptable and don't display anything about it in their own museum etc...
