toyotasuprauk
Does anyone have their non turbo Supra insured with any of these companies? I've got a quote with Bell direct which is better than Adrian Flux. They said that it shows as a Toyota Supra FI (Import) 1995. I questioned this a few times and was assured it was correct for my car as FI was for Fuel injected as its a non turbo, import as its obviously an import and 1995 confirms its a MK4 not a MK3. Just double checking its correct.
merckx
FI was for Fuel injected as its a non turbo Someone mentioned "FI" the other day on here with regard to their insurance, they said it stood for Foreign Import.

toyotasuprauk
Thanks I even replied to that thread. So you had yours insured as a FI then? Surely if we confirm it on the phone I've ask them to send the quote in the post and the year shows up as 1995 they cant try and say it was insured as the MK3! Pete
I'm not sure what to do. My car is obviously registered on the DVLA as FI which I'm happy to take mean Fuel Injected. My time building my kitcar has shown me that the DVLA have many colourful descriptions for vehicles, few of them 'correct'. I went through the process of correcting them and making sure it said Non turbo import on the paperwork for three years running, each time a right pain in the ass to do, and ended up paying typical an extra hundred to do this. I'm not bothering now. I really ought to tell them about my suspension replacment though.....
toyotasuprauk
I might see what the best quote I can get from them is and tell Adrian Flux who will hopefully match it anyway. If not I'll go with this group of insurers as the FI import and just get some further clarification before proceeding with it.
