Just for everyones info, if anyone is planning on stopping over and have not yet booked a room at guys lodge on the 20th Dec, I have just booked now and there is now 1 remaining room left apparently (unless they get a cancelation). The room left is an exec room with a large jacuzzi - fits 2 people, walk-in shower, an aqua TV above the Jacuzzi, double bed (not sure, maybe kingsize). Rooms available from 1pm. Its £72 or something like that inc breakfast. Next Room down is what i have got which is the similar except the jacuzzi is in the actual bedroom as its all open plan and there is no walk in shower = £64.50 inc breakfast

Tel 01995 640010 and press 1 to get through to the lodge part.

 

Cant wait, should be a good laugh! And the best bit is, I can now drink!! :)

 

 

 

isnt guys lodge in garstang/preston area????

i thought the do was in the owl at standish, guys is miles away, or are you going to a different xmas do that i dont know about???

lol know i messed up and mis-read where the do was at and booked in at the Owd Nells:blink:

 

But I have now cancelled and going to book something in Standish, (the right area :D)

 

try the britannia in standish, they got special offer on at £54 per night normally £95 its a nice hotel me and Mrs Col may book in there so she can have a drink:D

Cheers for all the info etc.

Just out of interest, is the 4* Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel alot nicer than the 3* Britannia Hotel. Only were trying to decide which one to stop in, there is only £12 difference cos its £54 plus £10.50 each for an English breaky in the morning, making it £74 in total. Where as the Kilhey Court is £86 including breakfast (instead of £111.52)

never did like the kiley court or the mac its full of tossers and posh chav types, ive booked in the britannia just now online and it cost £53 (dont think i will want breakfast) and its only a mile away from the owl, we can leave the cars at either the hotel and taxi to the owl or vice versa, book into the britannia david we can get leathered :D:D:D

or you can have an exec room for an extra £10 (nothing special just a bigger room)

you know it makes sense

mind you saying that killey court does have a nightclub:D i can always cancel the britannia and book killey court i looked its not too far away and its only £57 quite fancy being a posh chav type for the night, what do you reckon need to know asap i reckon killey now (sorry decisions decisions):search:

google search macdonald hotels then find killey court in wigan a standard room (double with no breakfast is £57. we can get breakfast at a greasy spoon)

or an exec suite is £77, i will try and find you a link
