Suprash
Is there anyone out there that is waiting on body kits from Japan.......as Im still waiting on a Ridox front and Trial rear through Envy and Im told there is a backlog in Japan, the Ridox front has been on order since Aug....... And I dount it will arrive before Christmas, and 6 months for something is a little OTT in my book....... Also, people with polished lips on their wheels, whats best to coat the polished lip in to try and mininimise weather corrusion, as Im currently just using some body polish over them to stop them going really manky.........works better then leaving them untreated from what I can tell so far but wondered if there was a better wax based stuff I could use..... _Shane_
there is nothing worse waiting on parts to arrive I had a set of wheels on order for my last car from germany and it was approaching 12 weeks and they told me it would only be 3-4 so i had enough and cancelled
colsoop
Ash rather than polish a good finishing wax is a better bet. you can get wheel wax, i had a set of stock oem wheels that were fully polished that i coated in sealant glaze followed by wax and they didn't tarnish ui couldn't be bothered to keep up the protection

Marco
Get a set of standard 17"s for winter, you can get them quite cheap. Salt is really bad for polished wheels, you would have to polish them at least every weekend or even more if you drive the car every day.
