Dash Rendar
I decided to replace my horrendously loud Boostlogic exhaust with something a bit quieter. So I bought a TRD on here second-hand. It was a bit... grey, so I thought I'd polish it up before fitting. A bit pointless I guess, but I figured I wouldn't get another chance. I only had a few hours to do it last night (as the car has now gone into the garage for lots of work, including the exhaust fitting), so I didn't spend as long on it as I would have liked. Also, I haven't got any tools, so it took a lot of manual scrubbing. That said, it's my first go at polishing anything, and I don't think it came out too bad, so I thought I'd share. Here's how it started: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/TRDexhaust004.jpg The rest of the pics were taken on my camera phone, so I apologise for the quality. Anyway, here's what it looked like after just starting on the silencer... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/justStarted.jpg And here's the silencer all done: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/silencerDone.jpg Here's the grubby pipe: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/nastyPipe.jpg And here's an interested rabbit, looking on... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/interestedRabbit.jpg And here it is, all finished... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/allDone1.jpg http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/allDone2.jpg

Dash Rendar
We've got two house rabbits. They can be a bit of handful. They like chewing wires, paper, curtains, walls... They didn't manage to chew through the exhaust though. http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/pets/DSCN2842.jpg http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/pets/nanaAndCoco251007/Dscn7498.jpg http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/pets/nanaAndCoco251007/Dscn7508.jpg Sorry... He's more than a handful and is very highly strung (not as relaxed as your two by the looks of things). Here he is being mischievous last Christmas:
Dash Rendar
He is lovely! As for my two... Appearances can be deceptive. They're a lot naughtier than they look.
Dash Rendar
Actually, I forgot to mention: in the second two photos of the bunnies I posted up earlier, Coconut (that's the darker one) was suffering from a nasty bout of myxomatosis. It took him nearly a month to shake it, and left him blind for another month. But he's fully recovered now, and upto mischief once more. I never thought I'd be so pleased to have a rabbit destroying my stuff again!
paul mac
my kids have expessed an interest in sadly not TRD exhausts but house rabbits, one question puzzles me do they s**t everywhere
Dash Rendar
lol! They can be trained to use a litter tray; mine do. They like to eat while they poo, so a litter tray filled with hay usually does the trick. Anywhere else where they might have 'left their mark' while litter training needs to be cleaned straight away, as they tend to continue to do their business in places where they've already established the scent. Ian W
my kids have expessed an interest in sadly not TRD exhausts but house rabbits, one question puzzles me do they s**t everywhere sad indeed They can be litter trained but you'll still get 'raisins' left around the place. Just have to tidy up after them as and when needed which is usually easy as it's very dry as far as sh*te goes
paul mac
thanks for the quick answers guys as the "raisin" issue does worry me slighty lol
Dash Rendar
The chewing should worry you more. You need to 'bunny proof' any areas they will be allowed to roam.
Tones
id have done the exact same myself, deffo would have tried to scrub her up a bit, bet its fairly quiet is it??? did u flog the boostlogic after??
Ian W
The chewing should worry you more. You need to 'bunny proof' any areas they will be allowed to roam. So true mate. I lived with my girlfriend for a while and it drove me crazy as the rabbit is pretty destructive. I'd find i couldn't totally relax for fear of him gnawing on something i'd paid good money for Luckily she's got her own place now and I'm happy in the knowledge he's only eating her stuff and not mine
