Here you go Stevo. I managed to get a Honda S2000 stubby from Envy. Haven't got around to doing anything yet.:)

It's annoying me now!

 

The "rf amplifer" bit (3rd picture, top part) - basically the black base with wires connecting to the aerial.... what is the actual name for this bit? I can't find one anywhere - and I swear that I've seen them in maplins and the like soooo many times now, but can't see it listed anywhere?

Anyone? I'm kicking myself as I've seen this bit soo many times - now that I want one I can't find one, nor remember the part description!
