I have e-mailed the bloke in the states a few times and he does not seem intrested in selling any Aerials - does not bother replying. I also have not heard back from any of the Mods - Last I heard it was going to the traders to see if anyone was intrested in doing a group buy. The VW bit that was mentioned is not a whole aerial assembly, unfortunately, ity's a rubber grommet that fits in place of the original. We'll have to hope you get a reply to a mail soon. I've mailed the guy too saying that we need approx 10 items if they are indeed the same as the units purchased in previous group buy. It's 7 am there now so I'm expecting a reply soon. These arials no longer come with the ruber gromets so that is somethign else we will have to source - apparently Baz did the gromets for the last GB, is this something he would be able or willing to do again? AndyT Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 The GB had to be closed by Mike mate. Locustom could not supply the aerial fittings like the grommet and other stuff. Sorry you missed the thread there Burna, how many you got and how much are you out of pocket? It was our job and I'll re-imburse you mate. I still have hopes that I can source something else, maybe the VAG units as the grommet and aerial fitted Baz extension. No joy so far. No supplier will commit and say it'll fit. There has to be a way of mossing an exising aerial and forming teh bracke DI stylee surely... He had all the pics of the bits the guys here put together / made and his techy guy had given the ok saying it would be a good job. Then nothing. Sorry folks.
