im interested in the engine, but to just run NA. whats it been rebuilt with? is it standard internals, standard cams? and would it run well without a turbo or was the compression ratio lowered?

thanks for your time

sam

Hi, It has a tt head gasket and arp bolts but all else is standard n/a

So therefore it has a lower compression ratio....HOWEVER i can make use of the arp bolts (Not needed on a n/a) so i will PAY for a Standard n/a head gasket and fit it ready to use!

I will need a week or so but that SHOULD suit us both all ways?

It also insures a valid visual inspection to the top end (Although i CAN guartantee its good anyways)

Regards

Stuart

so just to clarify stu,

everything has been replaced internally, rods? bearings, big and main? pistons and rings or just rings? has the block and head been skimmed? what ancilleries does it come with?

sorry im being picky but i just need to know whats been done, as it will be a spare engine but if its all been replaced i will whack it in my car.

thanks

sam

The engine was totally rebuilt by Greg at Turbofit, It had many new genuine Toyota parts, i will try to dig out the list tomorrow.

All i can vouch for is i had this engine running and i have compression tested, boreascoped (Camera inside) ans leak off thested this engine.

It is good.

Please note this engine is colection only.

Thanks

Okay kit still for sale but...

The engine is totally standard!

I had my suspisions so stripped the cylinder head off to my horror found it has standard internals and no arp bolts etc!!

I bought it from a member on these forums that will currently remain unnamed and shamed:(

But the kit is still for sale:D

Quality N/A-T Kit still up for Grabs, Cannot believe no one has snapped this up yet! Its a very cheap way to have awesome power. If you are a DIY'er its really do-able.

These parts cost over £3500 new and have only covered a few miles.

Here is a link to the outcome of the mis-sold engine that was for sale (Sorry it makes VERY long reading!) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=165222

I will accept an Sensible offer on this as need the space

Stuart

The parts left to sell relate to the middle picture in the first post...

For the manifold i am now asking £400

NEW T70 turbo Plus a spare Turbo Free £170

50mm wastegate and screamer £100

24x12x3" fmic £120

Most hardpipes and hoses/clamps in stainless Bespoke really decent stuff. £100

3" downpipe £120

HKS 4" Air inlet kit £80

total £1090

I will do a deal for the kit with all of the above inc free carriage to mainland UK of £800 inc another damaged turbo for free, this has only damage to inlet compressor as it sucked in its airfilter after the Viscous fan came loose on the previous owner:blink:

for up to 0.8 bar of boost (325HP) you would also need to obtain uprated fuel pump=£80

Piggy back ecu £120

440cc mk3 injectors Approx£100

resistor pack Approx£50?

And maybe a BOV £50-100....=Cheap power

maybe an FPR too...£50-80

If someone does not take this now then I WILL EAT MY SHORTS :search:

P.S. Open to sensible offers Via PM.......

Had offers but need more than £500.

This comes with Bespoke Stainless Turbo Bling Shroud. The Manifold is not your usual cheap eBay Crap. All the parts actually fit a supra unlike many other N/A-T Kits:blink:

Someone must want a winter project ;)

Hi Stuart,

Just out of curiosity did you manage to get the NA-T kit sold?

Last time I looked you were looking bids over £500.. bloody bargain I think.

Just wondering if I was ever looking to upgrade or go more horsepower in the future would I need similar manifold for a bigger T70 turbo. How much power do you think that turbo of mine could handle. What bar of boost? assuming I have TT head gasket.

Over winter I might opt for a TT head gasket and my mate is going to modify a TT inlet manifold with my N/A manifold so I can run TT thottle boddies.

It would be nice to move the inlet away from the turbo. I expect it will get well hot in the summer although it never gets too hot here in Ireland.
